Trip Durham is a twenty-year veteran of sports administration. His experiences include both professional sports and college athletics, as well as television and radio.

Trip DurhamA 1990 graduate from East Carolina University, Trip has worked as Director of Event Operations for the class-A affiliates of the Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds. His fourteen years at Elon University included two title changes while generating over $800,000 in corporate revenue in a market saturated by Atlantic Coast, Southern, Mid-Eastern Athletic, and Big South Conference schools. He was an integral part of the institution’s move from NCAA Division II to Division I, he sat on the steering committee that transformed the school’s mascot, and he created new operating procedures for athletic venues during a time of unprecedented growth at Elon. Trip served eight years on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators and he holds the title of Past President of the organization. He is the founder and CEO of 2D Consulting, LLC, a firm created to assess and improve the external relations for small college athletic departments, conference and committees.2D Consulting

Trip has worked in television as a local anchor and regional studio host for news and sports programming. He has also served as play-by-play announcer for a nationally distributed all-star game. He has produced and directed hundreds of sports radio game-day broadcasts and has handled public address announcing for several professional franchises. He is currently the venue announcer for Duke University football, volleyball, men’s basketball and women’s basketball.
