Omega Funeral Home & CrematoryAs the managing partner, Neil brings Omega Funeral Service & Crematory over 20 years experience in all areas of funeral service. With a passion for people and a genuine concern for others, Neil is both a service and civic minded professional who treats the funeral profession as a ministry.

Omega FHC FoyerIn 2001, he was named the High Point Chamber of Commerce Small Business Person of the Year while managing a local funeral home there. He was a nominee for the North Carolina Small Business Association’s “Young Entrepreneur of the Year” award in 2002 and has been involved in several community organizations across the Piedmont over the years. He is a 1996 graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, where he earned an A.A.S. degree in Funeral Service.

In 2011, Neil completed training with the Celebrant Foundation and Institute and is part of a small number of funeral directors nationwide to become certified as a Life Cycle Celebrant. Life Cycle Celebrants are ceremony specialists who have a sound background in the history of ritual, ceremony and funeral traditions in many cultures and religions. Funeral Celebrants have been drawn to this work by a strong realization that every life has meaning and deserves to be celebrated and celebrated well. Many have experienced grief themselves. All are convinced that funerals or life celebrations can be a valuable source of healing.

Omega FHC ChapelNeil also completed training with the National Funeral Directors Association and became a Certified Crematory Operator. This specialized training allows Neil the opportunity to better serve the growing number of families choosing this option to honor their loved ones.

He is a United States Marine Corps Persian Gulf veteran, a member of the Marine Corps League and a volunteer with the USMC Toys for Tots campaign. Neil and his wife April have two children, Coleman and Kacee who also help with the business. They are residents of Burlington in the Town of Alamance Community.
