VetLaw- Brendan Garcia

Brendan GarciaVetLaw provides national representation to America’s veterans, their dependents, and survivors who have been denied benefits by VA.  Although the law firm’s office is located on the 10th floor of the Winston Tower in downtown Winston-Salem, they provide representation to veterans anywhere in the country.  This includes any of the 56 Regional Offices, the Board of Veterans’ Appeals, and cases before the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans’ Claims (CAVC).

VetLawThe owner and founding member of VetLaw, Brendan Garcia, is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.  He spent four years on active duty as an enlisted Marine, including two overseas deployments in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.  Following his time in service, he attended college and law school in North Carolina.  Following his second year of law school, Brendan worked as a summer legal intern with the Board of Veterans’ Appeals in Washington, D.C., and began to understand first-hand the problems America’s veterans face when they turn to VA for help.

Following law school, Brendan was selected as a Presidential Management Fellow for the federal government, and chose to work with VA in Washington, D.C.  He spent two years in different areas of VA, including the Office of General Counsel and Compensation Service.  After working for OGC, Brendan once again recognized the need for veterans to receive legal help when dealing with VA, and he decided to relocate back to North Carolina following his 2-year fellowship program.

VetLaw was founded for the sole purpose of representing veterans before VA and the Court of Appeals for Veterans’ Claims.  Concentrating solely on one practice area allows VetLaw to dedicate the time necessary to assisting each veteran while staying knowledgeable about the ever-changing landscape of VA disability law.
